These Terms and Conditions govern the online sale of products available on this website.
Purchases made by consumers are subject to the mandatory provisions of Italian Legislative Decree No. 206/2005 (Italian Consumer Code) and other applicable legislation.
2. Products and Characteristics
Compositi AS offers accessories and components manufactured using composite and other materials, as described in the individual product listings.
Product descriptions, images, material specifications, and any compatibility information provided on the relevant product pages serve as a reference when selecting products.
Product images may show slight color differences compared with the actual items, depending on screen settings.
Products made from carbon fiber or composite materials may exhibit minor variations in weave patterns and finishes resulting from the characteristics of the materials and manufacturing processes, provided these variations are consistent with the stated product specifications and applicable conformity requirements.
3. Compatibility, Installation, and Use
Before purchasing, customers are encouraged to carefully check the product specifications and compatibility with their vehicle or intended application, as indicated on the relevant product page.
Components must be used in accordance with any instructions provided and applicable regulations.
Where installation requires technical expertise, professional installation is recommended when appropriate.
Customers with questions regarding compatibility may contact info@compositias.it before placing an order.
Nothing in this section affects consumers’ statutory rights in the event of defective, non-conforming, or incorrectly described products.
4. Prices and Taxes
All product prices are expressed in euros (EUR).
VAT and any other applicable taxes are calculated in accordance with current legislation and displayed during checkout.
The total order price, including applicable shipping charges and any additional amounts collected by the seller, is displayed before the purchase is confirmed.
Shipments to countries outside the European Union may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, and other charges not collected through the website, as explained on the Shipping page.
Compositi AS reserves the right to modify prices published on the website. Price changes do not apply retroactively to orders for which a contract has already been concluded.
5. Product Availability
Product availability is indicated on individual product pages and may be subject to change.
If an ordered product becomes unavailable, Compositi AS will inform the customer and, where possible, offer an alternative solution.
Customers are not required to accept substitute products.
If an order cannot be fulfilled, any amounts already paid will be refunded without undue delay, in accordance with applicable legislation.
6. Ordering Process
To place an order, customers select the products they wish to purchase and add them to their shopping cart.
Before confirming the order, customers can review the selected products, quantities, prices, applicable shipping charges, and information entered during checkout.
Submitting an order through the final purchase button entails an obligation to pay.
After submitting an order, customers receive a notification at the email address provided during checkout.
The sales contract is concluded when Compositi AS accepts the order and communicates its acceptance through an order confirmation. An automatic acknowledgment of receipt does not necessarily constitute acceptance.
If an order that has already been paid for cannot be accepted, the customer will be informed and the amounts paid will be refunded without undue delay.
7. Payment Methods
The payment methods available are those displayed during checkout.
Electronic payments are processed through the payment services and systems used by the website, in accordance with their respective terms and security measures.
Orders are normally processed after payment has been confirmed.
If a transaction is incomplete, declined, or unauthorized, the order may not be processed.
8. Shipping and Delivery
Compositi AS ships to the destinations available during the purchasing process.
Applicable shipping charges are displayed in the shopping cart and at checkout before the order is confirmed.
Shipping methods, delivery information, and any customs-related charges are described on the Shipping page, which forms part of these Terms and Conditions.
Unless a different delivery period has been agreed with the customer, goods will be delivered without undue delay and, in any event, within 30 days of the conclusion of the contract, in accordance with applicable consumer legislation.
In the event of delayed or failed delivery, customers retain their rights under the Italian Consumer Code.
For consumer sales, the risk of loss of or damage to the goods passes to the consumer when the consumer, or a third party designated by the consumer other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the goods, subject to the exceptions provided by law.
9. Right of Withdrawal
Consumers purchasing online have the right to withdraw from the contract without giving any reason within 14 days from the date on which they, or a third party designated by them other than the carrier, take physical possession of the goods.
If multiple goods purchased in a single order are delivered separately, the withdrawal period begins when the final item is received.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, consumers must clearly communicate their decision within the applicable period by contacting:
The communication may include the customer’s full name, order number, purchased product, and a clear statement of the decision to withdraw.
Consumers may use the model withdrawal form provided at the end of this page, although its use is not mandatory.
Consumers must return or dispatch the goods within 14 days of communicating their decision to withdraw. The deadline is met if the goods are dispatched before the 14-day period expires.
The return shipping address can be obtained by contacting customer support.
The direct cost of returning the goods is borne by the consumer, unless otherwise stated or agreed, to the extent permitted by law.
Consumers are liable only for any reduction in the value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning.
Opening the packaging does not automatically result in the loss of the right of withdrawal.
Any statutory exceptions to the right of withdrawal apply where relevant to the type of product purchased.
For further information regarding returns, customers may also consult the Refund and Return Policy.
10. Refunds
Where the right of withdrawal is validly exercised, Compositi AS will refund payments received from the consumer, including any standard initial delivery charges.
Additional costs resulting from the consumer’s express choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery option offered will not be refunded.
Refunds will be made without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date on which Compositi AS is informed of the consumer’s decision to withdraw.
Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise, without additional costs to the consumer.
Compositi AS may withhold the refund until the goods have been received or the consumer has supplied evidence of having sent them back, whichever occurs first, unless Compositi AS has offered to collect the goods.
For additional information, please consult the Refund and Return Policy.
11. Legal Guarantee of Conformity
Products purchased by consumers are covered by the statutory guarantee of conformity provided under the Italian Consumer Code.
For new goods, the seller is responsible for any lack of conformity that becomes apparent within two years of delivery, subject to the conditions established by applicable legislation.
Where a lack of conformity exists, consumers are entitled to the remedies provided by law, including, where the relevant conditions are met, repair, replacement, price reduction, or termination of the contract.
To report a problem, customers may email info@compositias.it, providing their order number and a description of the issue. Photographs, where available, may help facilitate the assessment.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits the statutory guarantee of conformity.
12. Products Damaged During Shipping
Upon delivery, customers are encouraged to inspect the condition of the packaging and the goods.
If visible damage is present, customers are advised to report it to the carrier and, where possible, accept delivery with a specific written reservation describing the damage.
Customers may report any damage to info@compositias.it, attaching photographs that may assist with the assessment.
Failure to make an immediate report or note a reservation upon delivery does not automatically affect the consumer’s statutory rights.
13. International Shipping
Shipments to countries outside the European Union may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, customs clearance fees, or other charges imposed by local authorities.
Where these amounts are not included in the total collected through the website, they may be charged to the recipient directly by customs authorities or delivery operators.
Customs procedures may affect delivery times.
Any mandatory consumer protection rules applicable in the destination country remain unaffected.
For further details, please consult the Shipping page.
14. Customer Responsibilities and Website Use
Customers must provide accurate and complete information during the purchasing process, particularly regarding contact details and delivery addresses.
The website must be used in compliance with applicable law and the rights of third parties.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits any liability of the seller that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
15. Intellectual Property
Website content, including text, images, photographs, graphics, logos, and trademarks, belongs to the respective rights holders and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Unauthorized use is subject to the limitations and conditions established by law.
16. Privacy and Cookies
Personal data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy available on the website.
Information regarding cookies and any tracking technologies can be found in the Cookie Policy.
17. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Italian law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights under applicable legislation, including the protections provided by European Union law.
Disputes involving consumer purchases are subject to the applicable rules on jurisdiction and consumer protection.
Where applicable, alternative dispute resolution (ADR) procedures provided by current legislation remain available.
18. Changes to These Terms
Compositi AS may update these Terms and Conditions for commercial, organizational, or legal reasons.
Changes apply to orders placed after their publication.
Orders for which a contract has already been concluded remain subject to the Terms and Conditions applicable at the time of purchase.
